We use ApplePly in our standard box construction because it is, in our opinion, the best ply material available at an economical cost.

ApplePly is made in Oregon from domestic sources, without the use of added urea formaldehyde.  It is FSC Certified and CARB Compliant.

Strong, stable and light weight, ApplePly offers a durability and life span which surpasses that of other plywood products. Because the inner plies are thin, void free solid hardwood veneers, ApplePly machines beautifully and is more resistant to tearing out. We choose it too, for it’s alternate ply edge grain and attractive contemporary design appeal.

Aquaspar Varnish is our shop finish.  It provides maximum protection with a subtle look and feel.  This clear, smooth, waterborne varnish is designed for marine use but feels like a hand rubbed oil finish.  It is resistant to water, heat, oil and household elements.  Aquaspar has a low VOC content and is environmentally friendly.
